Pillar 02 — Social Impact

The Virtuous Circle

RING finances educational projects via the ARIS platform using EDU Credits. Beneficiaries of these projects contribute back at preferential rates for the community. A model where every action generates the next.

Break the cycle of precarity through education and entrepreneurship

RING doesn't do charity. We build an ecosystem where financing educational projects creates value for the community, and where beneficiaries of these projects contribute back. Every action feeds the next in a logic of reciprocity.

Our approach is built on three convictions: complete transparency of financial flows, empowerment rather than assistance, and measurability of every action undertaken. Financing happens exclusively through EDU Credits on the EDUFREM platform.

"The goal is not to give a fish, nor even to teach how to fish. It's to create a lake where everyone can fish."

Traceability

Every EDU Credit invested is tracked end-to-end on the ARIS platform.

Reciprocity

Beneficiaries contribute back at preferential rates for the community.

Measurable Impact

Real-time dashboards to track the progress of every financed project.

Sustainability

A circular model where every action naturally generates the next.

The Virtuous Circle in Action
Here's how RING's virtuous circle works concretely. Every beneficiary becomes an active link that feeds the next. The ecosystem strengthens with each cycle.
Real Example: A Community in Cameroon
01

Education & Business Boost

RING finances the schooling of children of a pastry vendor at the market, and gives her a boost for her business. She joins the RING ecosystem.

02

Young Sprouts

Children benefiting from the RING scholarship join the Young Sprouts program. Twice a month, they lead a civic action: collecting plastic waste, wood, etc.

03

Reintegration Program

Collected waste serves as raw material for learners in the RING reintegration program: manufacturing and selling recycled ecological charcoal.

04

Circular Economy

Learners, in turn within the ecosystem, sell charcoal at reduced prices to the mother. She sells her pastries at reduced cost to RING ecosystem members.

05

Partner School

The school of scholarship children, supported by RING and valued by civic actions, now offers reduced rates to children in the ecosystem.

The Virtuous Circle

Every beneficiary becomes an active link. The circle strengthens with each turn.

How does ARIS work?
ARIS is RING's crowdfunding platform. Financing happens exclusively in EDU Credits: you top up your wallet on EDUFREM, then finance the projects of your choice.

Project Submission

Organizations (nonprofits, companies) submit educational projects with budget and measurable objectives.

Legal Verification

Only organizations that can prove legal existence are eligible. Projects must relate to education.

Audit & Validation

RING team audits each project: viability, expected impact, credibility of the applicant before publication.

Financing in EDU

Contributors top up their EDUFREM wallet and finance in EDU Credits. Every transaction is traceable.

Real-Time Monitoring

Detailed dashboards with photos, videos, and data on the progress of each financed project.

Impact Reports

Financial and social reports accessible to all contributors with impact metrics.

Social Impact, Traced and Measurable

Unlike traditional social financing models, ARIS guarantees that every EDU Credit invested is tracked end-to-end. Project leaders provide regular updates with visual proof and numerical data. Funders can see in real time the progress of each initiative.

Only organizations with legal existence (nonprofit, company, cooperative, etc.) can submit a project. Projects must obligatorily relate to education, training, or skills development. Individuals cannot propose projects but can finance those of their choice.

EDU Credits come from the EDUFREM ecosystem: you top up your wallet, and you finance directly the projects you care about. No complicated bank transfers, no intermediaries.

Three structural axes of impact
RING develops programs that transform communities durably. Each fits the logic of the virtuous circle: beneficiaries become community actors.

Education + Business

Integrated Training

A hybrid program that combines formal education and entrepreneurial learning. Young people develop concrete commercial skills while pursuing their studies, to exit the education system with both a diploma and a viable project.

  • Flexible education adapted to local context
  • Training in commerce, crafts, and technical skills
  • Ongoing mentoring by local professionals
  • Access to ARIS financing for top projects
Real Case — Green Charcoal

20 young people trained in making ecological charcoal from recycled waste. In 4 months, they create their cooperative and supply 3 neighborhoods — a sustainable business born from community recycling.

Young Sprouts Incubation

Civic Action — from age 9

A civic action program open from age 9 (with parental consent). Activities are adapted to each age group. Twice a month, young people take concrete action for their community: waste collection, literacy training, tree planting.

  • Open from age 9 with parental consent
  • Activities adapted to each age group
  • Minimum 2 civic actions per month
  • Leadership and responsibility training
Real Case — Collection & Recycling

Children of the carpenter trained by RING participate in waste collection in their neighborhood. This waste becomes raw material for young people trained in green charcoal. Civic action feeds the local economy.

Circular Solidarity Economy

Sustainability

RING's founding model: every beneficiary contributes back at preferential rates for the community. The carpenter whose training was financed supplies school furniture at reduced price to community schools. Green charcoal producers sell at solidarity rates. Every link creates the next.

  • Beneficiaries → contributors at preferential rates
  • Complete traceability via EDUFREM
  • Progressive community empowerment
  • Sustainable, replicable, and scalable model
Real Case — The Carpenter

RING finances a carpenter's schooling and business boost. In return, he supplies school furniture at reduced rates to community schools. His children participate in Young Sprouts.

They bring the virtuous circle to life
Funders, project leaders, beneficiaries — each has their role in the RING ecosystem.
I topped up my EDUFREM wallet and financed two projects in just a few clicks. What convinced me is the transparency: I see exactly where my EDU Credits go, I receive photos of progress, and I measure the real impact of my contribution.
Our nonprofit was able to finance 3 major projects through the ARIS platform: Career Days, the tutoring support program, and the Trade Show. Without RING, these projects would still be ideas. The platform gave us access to an engaged community.
The Young Sprouts program changed my life. At 12 years old, I organize waste collection in my neighborhood with my friends. We know this waste is used to make green charcoal. We feel useful and adults respect us.
RING financed my training and helped me develop my carpentry workshop. Today, I supply school furniture at reduced rates to schools in my neighborhood. My children do Young Sprouts. That's how it works, we help each other.

Solidarity & ARIS FAQ
What is the ARIS platform?

ARIS is RING's crowdfunding platform. It allows organizations to submit educational projects and contributors to finance them in EDU Credits. Every project is audited and validated by the RING team before publication. The platform offers real-time tracking with dashboards, photos, and impact reports.

How do I finance a project?

Financing happens exclusively in EDU Credits. You create an account on ARIS, top up your EDUFREM wallet with EDU Credits, then choose the project you want to support. No bank transfers or intermediaries: everything happens on the EDUFREM platform.

Who can submit a project on ARIS?

Only organizations with verifiable legal existence can submit a project: nonprofits, companies, cooperatives, foundations, etc. Individuals are not eligible. The project must obligatorily relate to education, training, or skills development. The RING team audits each submission before validation.

Is the Young Sprouts program open to children?

Yes. The Young Sprouts program is open from age 9 with parental or legal guardian consent. Activities are adapted to each age group: younger participants take part in simple actions (waste collection, tree planting) while older ones can lead more complex projects (literacy training, event organization).

How does the virtuous circle work?

RING finances educational projects and the beneficiaries of these projects contribute back at preferential rates for the community. For example: RING finances a carpenter's training, who then supplies school furniture at reduced prices. His children participate in Young Sprouts and collect waste, which becomes raw material for young people trained in green charcoal. Every action generates the next.

Does RING only operate in Africa?

No. We already support initiatives in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, and Madagascar, from France. The RING model is designed to be replicated wherever there is a need. Our virtuous circle works regardless of geographic context. If your organization leads an educational project elsewhere in the world, we'd be delighted to discuss it.

What's the connection between RING and EDUFREM?

RING is the social arm of EDUFREM. EDUFREM is an edtech fintech that provides financial services to students and manages EDU Credits. RING uses these EDU Credits to finance social impact projects via the ARIS platform. The two entities work in synergy: EDUFREM is the economic engine, RING is the social engine.
