Tutor
You follow a scholarship pupil over time : their results, their difficulties, what is happening at home. It is the most demanding role and the most useful. Commitment : one school year.
A school year funded, an hour of tutoring a week, equipment we can refurbish : all three count. Here are the four concrete ways to give us a hand.
In this order, today. We update this page when the needs change.
One-off or regular. This is what funds the school years of the Jeunes Pousses programme and the projects published on ARIS.
How to giveTutor of a pupil, mentor of a student preparing to leave, volunteer at an event. One hour a week already changes something.
Become a volunteerBecoming a member gives us collective weight : in general meetings, in front of partners, and to carry families’ voices. Membership is free, and is decided after a conversation with us.
Become a memberComputers, furniture, electrical equipment. We refurbish it and it goes on to students or schools, as with our ENEDIS partnership.
Offer equipmentTwo destinations, and you choose. Without a stated destination, the donation goes to school fees.
Fees are paid directly to the pupil’s school, never in cash to the family. The pupil and their parent or guardian sign the Jeunes Pousses charter.
One specific item of a project published on ARIS : desks, a solar panel, a month of canteen meals. You know what you are paying for, and you see what it produced.
By bank transfer. Write to contact@edufrem.com stating the amount and where you would like it to go : we will send you the association’s bank details and confirm receipt of the transfer.
In kind. Computer equipment, school furniture or electrical equipment. We first check whether we can refurbish and ship it : a donation that stays in a garage helps nobody.
Tax receipt. The association has non-profit public-interest status in France. Ask for a receipt at the time of the donation, with your address, and we will issue it for the relevant tax year.
There is no payment button on this website, and we never ask for bank details through a form or a message. If you receive such a message in our name, it does not come from us.
Choose according to what you can really sustain. A volunteer who disappears does more harm than a volunteer who says no.
You follow a scholarship pupil over time : their results, their difficulties, what is happening at home. It is the most demanding role and the most useful. Commitment : one school year.
You support a student preparing to leave, or who has just arrived in France. You tell them what no brochure will. Commitment : a few exchanges a month.
You lend a hand at an event, a collection drive, refurbishing equipment, or proofreading. Commitment : occasional, whenever you are available.
Tell us what you would like to do. We will come back to you with what is most useful right now, and let you decide.
The association welcomes corporate donations : funding one specific item of a project, covering school years, or entrusting us with equipment to refurbish. We have nothing to sell you, and if you are looking for a structured corporate giving offer with an agreement and named benefits, that is offered by the EDUFREM company, not by us.
