The question we are asked most often

Why this website is called ring.edufrem.com

Because the association’s legal name is Association EDUFREM. RING is its public name. There is also a company that carries the same name : this page explains who does what, and where to go for what we do not do.

The name

An association registered in 2020, under the name EDUFREM

The association was registered on 8 June 2020 under the name “Association EDUFREM”. It later adopted RING as its public name, which speaks more clearly to the people it supports, but it never changed its legal name. The ring.edufrem.com subdomain dates from that period : it is not an address borrowed from a company, it is the association’s original address.

We would rather state this here, plainly, than leave everyone guessing.

Who does what, in one rule

The association informs, guides and funds. The company sells, delivers and invoices. This is not a question of branding : it is a question of who takes the money.

RING, the association

Nothing paid for. Information and guidance for students, scam prevention, the articles published on this site, the Jeunes Pousses scholarships, impact projects, charity events, the peer community and the teachers’ community.

EDUFREM, the company

Everything that is paid for. Student mobility support, software for schools and families, diploma services, corporate giving programmes, education credit.

What that means in practice. The association invoices nothing, takes no commission on the company’s services and sells none of them. An association volunteer does not sell and does not deliver a paid service. And if your request falls on both sides, we do not improvise an arrangement : we say so and we hand you over.

Support flows the other way. The company gives the association a share of its profits and lets it use its tools, free of charge or at reduced cost. This is corporate giving, and it is what allows a small association to work with means it would not have on its own.

Where to go

If you are looking for a paid service

This is not the place. Student mobility support, software for schools and families, diploma services and corporate giving all belong to the company. Terms and prices are on its website, and you deal with it directly.

What about the ARIS platform ?

ARIS is built inside the EDUFREM ecosystem and the association uses it to showcase and fund education projects. It is one of the tools made available to us : we do not sell it, we publish on it.
